About the challenge
The Helyx Initiative is back for the fourth Helyx Hacks challenge, where high school students around the world innovate impactful software relating to the secret theme. The theme will be released at the opening ceremony that will be posted on our Youtube channel. Students team up in groups of 2 to 4 or work alone to build an app, game, program, or website. Competitors will have 4 weeks, from January 14th, 2023 at 10 AM PST to February 12th, 2023 at 11:45 PM PST to create an amazing product and submit it to compete.

What to Build
- The secret theme will be announced at the opening ceremony (you will get bonus points for adhering to the theme)
What to Submit
- Runnable software (if applicable)
- Description of software and how to run it
- 2-5 minute video describing your software and demo
